Reference.TfNSW Statement of Certification (WPO03) or Reference.TfNSW Statement of Re-Certification – PO3 (WPO03) (64554 or 66771)

From 1 January 2023, this competency must be awarded to the Rail Industry Worker profile using one of the following methods :

  • Directly awarded by the RTO who delivered the training, or
  • Added by a company if the certificate has back-to-source verification, such as a QR code. Please check the accepted evidence below for an example.

Competency requirements

  • Applicants name is to be displayed on the document
  • Applicants name on document is required to match the applicants registered cardholder name (However shortened versions such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' would be acceptable first name differences)
  • A Statement of Attendance is to be uploaded to this competency.
  • TfNSW accepts the following evidence for the role of Worksite Protection Officer 3:
    • TfNSW issued Statement of Attendance which is to identify the role: Protection Officer 3 Qualification or Protection Officer 3 Practical Assessment or Recertification or Track Protection Officer Lvl 03 – Final assessment
  • Where the certificate identifies it as a re-certification, upload it to the re-certification competency


NOTE: TFNSW does not accept 'higher level' qualifications for TFNSW roles and competencies.

Please upload a copy of your certificate issued by TfNSW.
  • If the evidence provided is dated before 30/04/18: The expiry date will be 30/11/2018.
  • If the evidence provided is dated after 30/04/18: The expiry date will be 30/11/2020.
  • If the evidence provided is dated in 2020, 2021 or 2022: The expiry date will be 30/03/2023.
