MTM - Signal Assistant Maintainer - Reassessment ()


Competency requirements

  • An MTM assessed Statement of Competency (SOC) should be uploaded (If the assessment has not already occurred outside of the system, please use the 'Apply for assessment' option and do not complete an upload against this competency. This will allow the application to correctly go straight through to the assessor rather than the RIW processing team)
  • If the previously assessed paperwork is uploaded and submit:
    • Applicants name must be displayed on the uploaded evidence (if upload for this competency is required).
    • Assessment paperwork will display matching role title
    • Black and white OR colour copy of this document is accepted.
    • Must be clear and legible.
  • NOTE: The uploaded document for this competency is expected to have already been verified by an approved MTM assessor. RIW Processing Team members will ensure the assessor has signed off on this before then being able to manually notify the MTM Signalling department that endorsement is required. MTM Signalling department representative will then assess the paperwork supplied and supply endorsement confirmation OR rejection reasoning back to RIW who will then verify the application in RIW as required.

Upload requirements 

Issue and Expiry date to be recorded in RIW - Validity period to be recorded as 4 years 

(unless advised otherwise on assessment paperwork or by endorser).
