Competency requirements

• Upload certificate of achievement or statement of attainment showing completion of Test Rail using ultrasonic testing equipment (or similar, can be different wording depending on issuer)
• Document must be issued by either a Registered Training Organisation or in accordance with practices detailed in the American Society for Non Destructive Testing SNT-TC-1A 2001 or the Australian Standard AS 1085.20 (tester of rail welds to hold a minimum of AS 3998 / ISO9712 certification)
• The document must be current and up to 5 years old to ensure it is valid for this competency
• Black and white OR colour copy of this document is accepted.
• Must be clear and legible
• Certificate issued by Australian Institute for non-destructive testing (AINDT) showing Ultrasonic Testing is accepted (5 year expiry as per indicated on the certificate)

Upload requirements

• Issue date to be recorded as the date the training was complete.
• Expiration date is to be recorded as the date which is 5 years from the issue date.
