Competency requirements

• Evidence must show that Local Possession Authority (LPA) duties occurred on the AMPRN 
• WTR-001 Pre-work safety assessment serial numbers must match on side 1 and 2 of form
• WTR-002 Protection Officer's Worksite Protection Brief serial numbers must match on side 1 and 2
  • WTR-001 Pre-work safety assessment (side 1 of form), which will need to include:
    • Protection Officers Name
    • Date of PO activity

  • WTR-001 Protection Officer's Safeworking Protection Plan (side 2 of form), which will need to include:

    • Protection Officers Name

    • Form of Protection Selected (must match Protection Role that currency is being applied for)

  • WTR-002 Protection Officer's Worksite Protection Brief, which will need to include: 

    • Protection Officers Name

    • Date of PO activity

    • Protection Officers RIW Card Number

    • Workers have been signed on and off from brief

  • WTR-100 Authority to Work:

    • Section 1,2,6,7,8,9,10 and 11 must be completed. 

    • Sections 3,4,& 5 to be crossed out if not applicable

    • “Fulfilled” recorded anywhere on form

  • WTR-201 Local Possession Authority Work Permit (Master Copy)

    • Section 1,3,4 & 5 must be completed

    • Section 2 to be crossed out if not applicable

  •  WTR-202 Local Possession Authority Work Permit (Field Copy)
    • Section 1,3,4,& 7 must be completed
    • Section 5 & 6 to be crossed out if not applicable
  • WTR-300 Infrastructure Booking Advice
    • All sections of form to be completed
      
      

• 0-12 months – covered by initial or refresher KDAw0016 AMPRN Local Possession Authority Training (no action from cardholder required)

• 12-24  months – evidence must be uploaded, demonstrating that the PO has performed Local Possession Authority on the AMPRN, during the 0-12 month period following initial or refresher KDAw0016 AMPRN Local Possession Authority WTR-300 Infrastructure Booking Advice
