Types of documentary evidence accepted: 


  1. A copy of the membership card stating "Registered Professional Engineer Queensland ( RPEQ) issued by the Board of Professional Engineers Qld, with the person's name; with their RPEQ number visible, with an valid date no later than 1 year from date of verification OR
  2. An ARTC letter, on ARTC letterhead stating "alternative registration has been  reviewed and accepted"; it must also state the name of the person, their RIW number, date of issue, length of validity (1 year) and be signed by the ARTC General Manager Technical Standards.

  • The uploaded document for this competency is expected to be verified by the relevant assessor/subject matter expert rather than a RIW Service Desk Member
  • After the RORE form has been completed by the applicant, the Employer Admin must submit the RORE form to the applicant’s RIW profile on the relevant Job Role, and select an assessor to apply for assessment. (Job Role Assessment guide for EA)
  • Once the Assessor receives the application, they will verify the documentation by downloading, signing, reuploading, and either Approving or Rejecting it. (Assessor Guide)


Note 1: The previous version of RORE form will be accepted until 28/06/2024. All new applications from 28/06/2024 onward MUST use the Updated RORE form.
