Certificate of Currency.V/line - Track Force Protection Coordinator (Level 3:2) (47191)

From 1 January 2023, this competency must be awarded to the Rail Industry Worker profile using one of the following methods :

  • Directly awarded by the RTO who delivered the training, or
  • Added by a company if the certificate has back-to-source verification, such as a QR code. Please check the accepted evidence below for an example.

Competency requirements

  • Applicants name must be shown on document and must match the applicants name as it is registered in the system. 
  • A statement of attainment showing all mandatory units within the course, some selected mandatory units within this course (ONLY when the unit combination is detailed acceptable in the equivalent MTM business rule**) OR a certificate of achievement / certificate of completion can be uploaded for this competency.


  • 8/4/2020 CERT are now an approved provider for TFPC 3.2 refresher for the V/Line network.
  • 6/7/2020 TAA are now approved to deliver initial and refresher training for TFPC 3.2 for the V/Line network.

13/04/2021 - Effective 14/04/2021 (inclusive) MTM Certificate of Currency is NOT acceptable evidence as currency

21/12/2023 - No certificate of currency will be accepted from CERT or TIC effective 22/12/2023 (inclusive) until further notice

19/01/2024 - Certificate of Currency can be accepted from Training Ahead Australia

  • The statement of attainment must show all mandatory units of competency that are required as shown within the V/Line - Track Force Protection Coordinator (Level 3.2) course requirements listed on the V/Line Safeworking Matrix. The V/Line safeworking matrix can be found on the V/Line website.
  • TLIL0010 Implement a track occupancy authority supersedes and is an equivalent of TLIL3065 Implement track occupancy protection.

  • Black & white or colour copy of the document is acceptable. 
  • Document must be clear / legible.

Upload requirements

  • Date of assessment / date of completion shown on certificate must be entered as the issue date within RIW.
  • Enter the expiration as a date 2 years form the issue date.
