Licence.Tradespersons Licence NSW - Motor Mechanic (67910)


Competency requirements

  • Applicants name to be shown on document and this should match cardholders registered name
  • Tradesperson Licence should be uploaded
  • Motor Mechanic should be shown on the Licence
  • Licence must be issued by Government appointed authority (EG NSW Fair Trading)
  • Black and white or colour copy of document accepted
  • Digital version of Trades & OH&S construction licence is accepted however it must be validated against:
  • If a digital licence is presented it must be a screen shot of the digital licence and not email confirmation of the licence. All other features of the licence must also be present as stated above.

Upload requirements

  • Issue Date = Does not need to be recorded in RIW.
  • Expiry Date = Should be recorded in RIW as displayed on the licence.

Competency requirements

  • Evidence for this competency can be a qualification issued by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or governing body.
  • The qualification must be a Certificate III.The qualification must show reference to Plumbing.
  • For overseas/international mechanical trade qualifications to be accepted in the RIW Program, the qualification needs to be assessed by Trades Recognition Australia. A copy of the letter from Trades Recognition Australia must be uploaded with the qualification, and the assessment must have the wording: 
    • “This letter confirms that Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) has assessed your application as SUCCESSFUL for the occupation of RELEVANT TRADE under the TRA Migration Skills Assessment Program.”
