Qualified.Relevant Tertiary Qualification - QR - ​Senior Traction Linesman (Team Leader) (230880)


Competency Requirements

  • This competency is reviewed by an authorised Queensland Rail assessor
  • Evidence must show equivalent and/or higher qualification to the UET30721 - Certificate III in ESI - Rail Traction and a relevant work experience logbook.
  • The applicant must hold a relevant electrical work licence relevant for the work (valid in Queensland).
  • The applicant must be listed as a Qualified Technical Person (QTP) on a valid electrical contracting licence issued in Queensland.
  • Electrical contractor licences are issued for one year in Queensland. RIWs must ensure electrical contracting licences are maintained on an annual basis to meet legislative requirements.
  • Contractors must hold an electrical contractor licence in Queensland to perform electrical work for others as a sole trader, partnership or company.
