Competency requirements

  • RTO issued VOC Paperwork with competency title shown OR
  • John Holland issued VOC Paperwork with competency title shown OR
  • Certificate of Competency / letter of competency for this competency from John Holland authorised training provider OR
  • METRO TUNNEL VOC template shows unit of competency has a 2 year expiry OR
  • An RTO issued statement of attainment or card (front and back) showing relevant national training unit of competency completion (i.e. Work safely at heights or working at heights) that is less than 2 years old.
  • The unit of competency MUST be listed on the RTO's scope in training.gov.au

  • A copy of the front and back of a card from and authorised training provider showing an issue date
  • NOTE: Issue dates must be entered even when an issue date is not actually recorded on the VOC card - Calculate Issue date to be the date which is 2 years prior to the expiry date of document
  • There is an expiry of 2 years
  • MUST equal the Dates as per the evidence provided, and 2 years from that – No Exception

Competency requirements

  • Qualification is to identify proficient at working at heights.
  • Qualifications can include a Statement of Attainment or Licence from a Register Training Organisation with one of the Mandatory Units listed below:
    • RIIWHS204E - Work safely at heights
    • BCGCM1006A - Work safely at heights
    • RIIWHS204D - Work Safely at Heights
    • CPCCCM1006A - Work Safely at Heights
    • CPCCCM2010B - Work safely at heights
    • RIIOHS204A - Safe Work at Heights
  • Certificates of completion indicating VOC renewal can also be accepted.
