Competency Requirements


An SRLA Assessed Record of Relevant Experience (RORE) should be uploaded with all required signatures from an approved SRLA Assessor/SME. Christel Ponce - RIW Administrator will sign off once received from SME

  • Applicants name must be displayed on the uploaded evidence
  • Assessment paperwork will display matching role title
  • Must be clear and legible.

NOTE: The uploaded document for this competency is expected to have already been verified by an approved SRLA assessor and SME. SRLA representative will then assess the paperwork supplied and supply endorsement confirmation OR rejection reasoning back to Applicant as required.


The Record of Relevant Experience is required to provide further evidence of your Assurance skills and experience relevant to the role you have selected.

Certificate.SRLA - Safety - Tertiary Qualification (85344)


Competency Requirements

  • Name on the certificate to match the name in the system (shortened versions accepted, e.g. 'Chris' accepted for Christopher)
  • RTO Name and Logo to be displayed on the document.

  • Completion date or issue date must be displayed.

  • Course title and associated level to be listed on the certificate to contain wording that indicates competency relevant to -

        Tertiary Qualification in Work Health Safety

  • Qualification can be a CERT IV, Diploma, Bachelor or Masters

  • Document / Certificate number must be shown.

  • For overseas/international engineering qualifications to be accepted, they need to either be recognised under the Washington Accord; Qualification Checker http://www.ieagreements.org

  • A letter from the Australian Institute of Engineers or Engineers Australia recognising your qualification is also accepted, the letter MUST specify the relevant AQF level of qualification. 

  • Engineers Australia's letter must state that it is a Migration Skills Assessment.
