Competency requirements

• Applicants name must be shown on document and must match the applicants name as it is registered in the system.

  • V/Line’s On-track Maintenance Machine Competent Person's Certificate (Safeworking Accreditation Checklist).
• Evidence must be signed by applicant. 
• Evidence must be signed by Accreditation Officer (Full name must be listed). Approved V/Line examiners are:
  • David Kerry
  • David Ward
  • Martin Simmons
• "Re-Accreditation and "Pass" must be ticked on the first page of the evidence.
• Black & white or colour copy of the document is acceptable. 
• Document must be clear / legible.

Upload requirements

• Date of assessment / date of completion shown on certificate must be entered as the issue date within RIW.
• Enter the expiration as a date 2 years form the issue date.
