Competency requirements

  • Applicants name must be displayed on the uploaded evidence.
  • A V/Line OR *MTM Statement of Competency document is required to be uploaded. 
    • *If MTM Statement of Competency document is uploaded it MUST be endorsed by MTM to be accepted for the equivalent V/Line role / competency.
  • To demonstrate endorsement of the SOC, the V/line letter must also be presented (see example).
  • If the 'Apply for Assessment' option was selected: This document gets uploaded by the assessor when they are passing out the assessment rather than by the contractor / contracting company administrator at the upload and submission stage of the application. 
  • If the assessed SOC was uploaded (as opposed to using the apply for assessment option), the following points of verification check need to be complete:
    • Evidence must be signed by all relevant parties (Applicant and Assessor).
    • Evidence must display matching role title.
    • Black & white OR colour copy of this document is accepted.
    • Must be clear and legible.

Upload requirements

  • Issue date is to be recorded as the date the assessment was signed off by the assessor.
  • Expiration date is to be recorded as the date which is calculated to be 4 years from the issue date (Unless advised otherwise by assessor or endorser).
