Competency requirements

• The applicant's name must be displayed on the uploaded evidence
• Engineers Australia will issue membership evidence
• When an applicant is first elected a member of the Charter of Professional Engineers, they are provided with a certificate.
• Engineers Australia will maintain currency, and evidence showing an active membership can be provided by accessing the Engineers Australia portal.
• We can accept evidence in the form of a certificate, a screenshot of the EA portal or a letter
• Black and white OR colour copy of this document is accepted
• Must be clear and legible

Upload requirements

• Issue date to be recorded as the award date on certificate of membership
• Expiry set to 12 months from date of registration if certificate is used (which is the date indicted on certificate)
