Competency requirements

  • Applicants name to be displayed on the Licence
  • Applicant's name on the document must match the cardholder's registered name (However shortened versions of first names such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' is acceptable).
  • Code BL should be present 
  • EWPA Operator Licence Yellow card licence to be uploaded 
  • Black and white or colour copy accepted
  • Both sides are required to be shown within uploaded file
  • Digital licences are also accepted, if it meets all other verification points 

As per recommendations from the Elevating Work Platform Association of Australia (EWPA), The old yellow cards are no longer being accepted if issued prior to 1 July 2013 Information Sheet – Old Yellow cards no longer being reprinted (ewpa.com.au)

Upload requirements

  • Issue date to be recorded in RIW
  • If expiry is shown on licence, this should be reflected in RIW too.
