Competency requirements

• Applicants name to be displayed on the Licence
• Code VL should be present
• HPA EWP Yellow card licence to be uploaded or SLO card (see example below)
• Black and white or colour copy accepted.
• Only record expiration date if there is one shown on card
• If card is uploaded, both sides are required to be shown within uploaded file
• As per recommendations from the Elevating Work Platform Association of Australia (EWPA), The old yellow cards are no longer being accepted if issued prior to 1 July 2013 Information Sheet – Old Yellow cards no longer being reprinted (ewpa.com.au)

• Due to Covid-19, a letter from the Licencing Authority will be accepted providing a back to source verification has been performed. Back to source verification involves visiting https://yellowcard.ewpa.com.au/public/home/verify and searching the relevant register for the licence presented

Upload requirements

• Issue date to be recorded in RIW
• If expiry is shown on licence, this should be reflected in RIW
