Certificate of Achievement.QR Protection Officer (75842)

From 1 January 2023, this competency must be awarded to the Rail Industry Worker profile using one of the following methods :

  • Directly awarded by the RTO who delivered the training, or
  • Added by a company if the certificate has back-to-source verification, such as a QR code. Please check the accepted evidence below for an example.

Competency requirements

  • The Protection Officer (PO) qualification specifically covers Queensland Rails requirements.
  • QR authorised training providers are - Queensland Rail, Accell, CERT and GoTrain
  • The content is Queensland Rail specific and cannot be delivered by any other RTO.
  • The new Queensland Network Rules & Procedures come into effect on the 5 October 2020. All Protection Officer need to be current in the new Protection Officer Job Role from this date.
