Competency requirements

• Applicant’s name must match the RIW cardholder (shortened names, e.g. Chris for Christopher, are acceptable).
• All certificates must show a clearly visible initial date of grant and expiry date, which will be used to establish validity of the evidence.
• All certificates must display a corporate logo/seal and be signed by the issuing authority.
• Applicants must provide a Business Licensing Authority RPEV Certificate of Registration, which must:
  • Show the Business Licensing Authority logo.
  • Indicate the Area of Engineering relevant to the applicant’s practice (e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, Fire, Hydraulics).
