Competency requirements

  • Evidence for this competency can be either a Certificate of Currency issued by an RTO or a Statement of Attainment issued by an RTO that is less than 2 years old.

  • Name on the document to match the registered person in RIW, shortened names are permitted.

  • The Certificate of Currency must be in date and valid showing completion of the course name and course code.

  • A Statement of Attainment can be used for the first time by an RTO so long as it shows the unit of competency title and course code.

  • Black & white or colour copy of the certificate is accepted but must be clear and legible.

  • Issue Date = Date of Completion.
  • Expiry Date = 2 years.
