SRLA - Project Management - Bachelor Degree Education (88945)


Competency Requirements

  • RTO Name and Logo to be displayed on document
  • Name on certificate to match the name in the system (shortened versions accepted, e.g. 'Chris' accepted for Christopher)
  • Completion date or issue date must be displayed
  • Course title and associated level to be listed on certificate to contain any of the following wording
    • Bachelor Degree in Engineering 
    • Bachelor Degree in Project Management
  • SRLA will accept any Bachelor of Engineering regardless of the field 
  • No expiry
  • For overseas/international engineering qualifications to be accepted, the qualification needs to meet one of the following requirements:
    • The degree is recognised by the Washington Accord Rules. The qualification will need to be checked by using the following link: https://www.ieagreements.org. A PDF of the search result will need to be uploaded alongside a certified true copy of the degree.
  • The search result can be downloaded by selecting the Download PDF button.
  • The issue date of the degree certificate must occur in between the “Intake Dates”.
  • The “International Recognition” must state Washington Accord
  • A letter from Engineers Australia showing completion of Stage 1 competency assessment.    
  • The name on the letter must match the name on the degree.
  • The occupational category must be “Professional Engineer”.
  • A “Migration Skills Assessment Competency Demonstration Report” from Engineers Australia.
  • The name on the letter must match the name on the degree.
  • The “Occupation Classification” must be “Professional Engineer”.
  •  A SRLA Exemption Letter is also acceptable if the other requirements are unavailable.  Please contact SRLA Health & Safety Team (healthandsafety@srla.vic.gov.au) to assess your request for exemption."

  • Issue date – If only an issue date is listed, please enter this as the issue date.
