Competency Requirements

• Name on the assessment to match the name in the system (shortened versions accepted, e.g. 'Chris' accepted for Christopher)

• Engineering Competency Assessment must be completed on Company letterhead/template with all sections completed

• The document must state Competency Assessment Engineering

• Competency must align with the paperwork and be uploaded to the correct competency in RIW.

• Assessment must state a ‘Competent’ outcome, with no conditions applied to the applicant’s role

• The evidence must be clear and legible

• Document showing “Position Description and Competency Assessment" as being competent.

This must have the following filled out:

• Project and assessment date
• Personal details, Position Description
• Relevant Experience, Education, and Training
• Engineering Competency Assessment must have an outcome under evaluation for each of the 1 to 16 this could be 0 to N/C.
• The final rating at the end of the document must be either Competent or Not Yet Competent.
• If Competent their Competency Assessment must be accepted.
• This must be followed by a date, name, and signature by a SME.

Upload Requirements

• Date of completion = Approval/Application date that is listed on the assessment
• Expiry date = 4 years from the date of Approval/Application date
