Competency Requirements

  • The applicants name is to be displayed on the document
  • The applicants name on the document is required to match the applicant's registered cardholder name (However shortened versions such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' would be acceptable first name differences)
  • A Statement of Attendance is to be uploaded to this competency
  • TfNSW accepts the following evidence for this competency:
    • “TfNSW Statement of Attendance - Signal Key Switch Blocking (SKS01)” certificate and the “TfNSW Statement of Attendance - Using Signal Key Switches for TWA (SKS03)” certificate combined (see First time attained) OR
    • TfNSW issued a Statement of Attendance Signal key switch blocking communication protocols refresher (See Refresher)
  • First time attained:
    1. For the First time attainment TFNSW will accept a copy of TfNSW Statement of Attendance - Signal Key Switch Blocking (SKS01) AND TfNSW Statement of Attendance - Using Signal Key Switches for TWA (SKS03) certificates combined and a 2-year expiry will apply.
  • Refresher:
    1. For all subsequent refresher attendance, the TfNSW Statement of Attendance - Signal key switch blocking communication protocols refresher will be accepted with a 2-year expiry.

Upload Requirements

  • TfNSW-issued Statement of Attendance must be uploaded by TfNSW Learning and Development
  • Award Date = Completion Date on Statement of Attendance
  • Expiry Date = 2 years from Completion Date
