TfNSW Statement of Certification (MEI61) Electrical Permit Holder (64535)

From 1 January 2023, this competency must be awarded to the Rail Industry Worker profile using one of the following methods :

  • Directly awarded by the RTO who delivered the training, or
  • Added by a company if the certificate has back-to-source verification, such as a QR code. Please check the accepted evidence below for an example.

Competency requirements

  • Applicants name is to be displayed on the document.
  • Applicants name on document is required to match the applicants registered cardholder name (However shortened versions such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' would be acceptable first name differences).
  • A Statement of Attendance is to be uploaded to this competency.
  • TfNSW accepts the following evidence for the role of Electrical Permit Holder.
  • Where the certificate identifies it as re-certification, upload to the certificate competency.

Upload requirements

  • Please upload a copy of your certificate issued by TfNSW.
  • If the Practical Assessment is completed before 25/03/2023, set the expiry to 31/07/2023.
  • If the Practical Assessment is completed after 25/03/2023, set the expiry to 30/07/2025.
  • Re-accreditations set the expiry to 30/07/2025.
