Licence.NSW - Electrical Licence (43508)


Competency requirements

  • Applicant's name must be displayed on the licence.
  • Licence must show competency in an electrical qualification.
  • Licence must be in date / valid.
  • Licence must be issued by relevant NSW Australian State Government Authority.
  • Black and white OR colour copy of this document is accepted.
  • Only the front side of the electrical licence is required.
  • Must be clear and legible 
  • Please note: A provisional licence is not acceptable as evidence for a full electrical licence.
  • Digital version of Trades & OH&S construction licences are accepted, however they must be validated against:
  • If a digital licence is presented, it must be a screenshot of the digital licence and not email confirmation of the licence. All other features of the licence must also be present as stated above.

Upload requirements

  • If there is an issue date shown on the licence, record this as the issue date in RIW.
  • Record the licence expiration date as the competency expiration date in RIW.
