Authorisation Letter.MTM - Around the Track Personnel - Minor (40107)

From 1 January 2023, this competency must be awarded to the Rail Industry Worker profile using one of the following methods :

  • Directly awarded by the RTO who delivered the training, or
  • Added by a company if the certificate has back-to-source verification, such as a QR code. Please check the accepted evidence below for an example.

Competency requirements

  • Evidence for this competency is a Letter issued by a Metro Trains authorised person 
  • The letter must indicate that the application to hold the Around The Track Personnel – Minor competency is successful and that they are hereby approved to undertake this role from the date of this letter.
  • Applicants name and RIW number must be displayed on the letter
  • Company Name and Company Address must be displayed
  • Supervisor's name and RIW number must be displayed
  • Letter must be issued on Metro Trains Letterhead
  • Letter must have Metro watermark
  • Letter must be dated
  • The letter will have a registration number and is signed by MTM RIW Coordinator as per the template provided.
  • Letter will be loaded by the MTM Competencies team upon approval.
