Certificate of Currency.MTM - Track Force Protection Coord - Level 2 - VIC (35476)

From 1 January 2023, this competency must be awarded to the Rail Industry Worker profile using one of the following methods :

  • Directly awarded by the RTO who delivered the training, or
  • Added by a company if the certificate has back-to-source verification, such as a QR code. Please check the accepted evidence below for an example.

Competency requirements

  • Applicant's name must be shown on the document
  • Applicant's name on the document to match applicants name in RIW (However, shortened first names such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' are accepted)

Please upload a certificate issued by an MTM authorised Registered Training Organisation (RTO) provider:

  • Metro Academy – approved to deliver TFPC 3.2 initial and Renewals.

Acceptable certificates against this competence are:  

  • SOA – (Containing below unit with accompanying Certificate of Completion as per Note 1)  
  1. TLIW2037 Clip and secure points
  2. TLIC2081 Pilot rail traffic within work on track authority limits
  3. TLIL3065 Implement a track occupancy authority
  4. TLIL3083 Implement a track work authority and manage rail traffic through worksites
  5. TLIL3084 Implement a local possession authority

    From 28/04/2022 onwards, Metro Academy SOA certificates will include the following units of competency.
    1. TLIC0025 Pilot rail traffic within work on track authority limits
    2. TLIL0010 Implement a track occupancy authority
    3. TLIL3083 Implement a track work authority and manage rail traffic through worksites
    4. TLIL3084 Implement a local possession authority
    5. TLIW2037 Clip and secure points

OR; 

    • COC – Track Force Protection Coordinator 3.2 renewal (issued via Metro Academy only as per Note 2) 


Note 1: If uploading a Statement of Attainment it must be accompanied by a Certificate of Completion (COC) containing Track Force Protection Coordinator 3.2

Note 2: For the Metro Academy Renewal Certificate of Completion (COC) to be accepted the certificate MUST state that it is renewal training completed on a Metro academy template, for example, the certificate should state  “Track Force Protection Coordinator 3.2 Renewal”.


Note 2: For auditing certificates completed between June 2023 - December 2023 and uploaded by Metro Trains Melbourne please follow the given link.

Note 3: The following certificate of completion (examples below) can be accepted from the corresponding dates: Track Force Protection Coordinator 3.2 (MTM Conversion) - 20/03/2024.

Note 4: The following documents can be accepted from the corresponding dates:

TFPC 3.2 (MTM Upgrade)  10/11/2020 to 30/03/2024

Upload requirements

  • Award Date = Date of completion is shown on the certificate
  • Expiry Date = 2-year expiry date from Date of Completion.
