Certificate of Achievement.QR - Communications (86016 or 47520)

From 1 January 2023, this competency must be awarded to the Rail Industry Worker profile using one of the following methods :

  • Directly awarded by the RTO who delivered the training, or
  • Added by a company if the certificate has back-to-source verification, such as a QR code. Please check the accepted evidence below for an example.

Competency requirements

  • The QR Safely Access the Rail Corridor qualification specifically covers Queensland Rail's requirements.
  • Only a Queensland Rail Authorised training organisation can deliver this competency
  • QR authorised training providers are - Queensland Rail, CERT, Accell, Go Train, JMD Railtech, Occupational Skills Centre, The Instruction Company. 
  • All providers issue a Certificate of Achievement showing either QR3.3/3.3 Communications or QR3.3/3.3 Communications Recertification
  • Queensland Rail will only issue a Certificate of Achievement for accreditation where you have completed the course previously with QR – showing Communications
  • The content is Queensland Rail specific and cannot be delivered by any other RTO

  • Certificates issued by Swetha with a prior completion date prior to 14/03/2022 will be accepted. Certificates issued past this date are not a valid form of evidence for this competency.
  • Certificates issued by JMD Railtech, Occupational Skills Centre & The Instruction Company are accepted from 15 March 2022.
