Competency requirements

• The name of the RIW cardholder must match the evidence document. We will accept shortened names e.g. Chris for Christopher. 
• There must be a clearly visible 'date of issue' and 'valid until' on all certificates, which will be used to establish validity of the evidence.
• All certificate documentary evidence must have a corporate logo/seal visible.
• All certificate documentary evidence must be signed by the issuing company representative.

An Engineers Australia Membership Certificate which must:

• show the Engineers Australia logo 
• show the Area of Engineering as Mechanical Engineering 
• Must state 'Chartered' or CPENG ("Student", "Graduate", "Engineering Technologist" and "Engineering Associate" are NOT accepted) 

And one of the following: 

• CPEng/NER yearly certificate 
• A letter of Membership Confirmation from Engineering Australia showing current membership
• Current Engineers Australia Victorian Registration Outcome report
• Current Engineers Australia RPEQ Assessment letter
• A copy of the individual Engineers Australia ('Engineering Portfolio' and 'print' the profile page as a PDF)
  • Name on Profile must match name as per RIW system (Shortened names accepted?)
  • Screenshot to reflect Occupational Category as 'Professional Engineer'
  • Screenshot to reflect Area of Practice as ‘Mechanical Engineering'
  • Screenshot to show Chartered Status as 'Chartered Professional Engineer'
  • Screenshot to reflect Registration Date
  • EA Membership grade to reflect: 'Member' OR 'Fellow’
