ARTC.Certificate of Achievement.Train Running Information - Road/Rail Travel (40799)

From 1 January 2023, this competency must be awarded to the Rail Industry Worker profile using one of the following methods :

  • Directly awarded by the RTO who delivered the training, or
  • Added by a company if the certificate has back-to-source verification, such as a QR code. Please check the accepted evidence below for an example.

Competency requirements

  • Name on documentation to match the person registered (Shortened version of name is accepted EG Chris for Christopher)
  • A certificate of achievement issued by an ARTC authorised Safeworking registered training organisation is to be uploaded for this competency.
  • A certificate of achievement must clearly show “ARTC TRI Light Weight road/rail travel”
  • A certificate of currency may also be uploaded to show ongoing currency for TRI Light Weight road/rail travel

  • Akira/Training Ahead
  • Australian Testing Services
  • Railtrain
  • Go Train
  • Southern Cross Rail Training
  • 22/12/2023: Certificate issued by Centre for Excellence in Rail Training (CERT) (RTO: 51333) is not accepted if issued on or after 22/12/2023”.
  • Certificate issued by Accell Pty Ltd (RTO: 32213) is not accepted if issued on or after 31 August 2024.

  •  Please upload a copy of your certificate
  • A 2 year expiry date is required
  • ARTC authorised registered training organisations can be found on the ARTC website.
