Competency Requirements 

• Applicants name is to be displayed on the document 
• Applicants name on the document is required to match the applicant's registered cardholder name (However shortened versions such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher would be acceptable first name differences) 
• Must be a Sydney Trains Employee or Contractor (with TfNSW RIW association) assigned to a Network Base
• A CAT 1 medical is required for this competency 
• The Statement of Attendance uploaded to this competency identifies that you have completed the required learning for this competency 
• Transport for NSW accepts the following evidence for this competency:
  • Successful completion of RIW eLearning course
  • TfNSW issued Statement of Attendance that identifies ZKL3000RC01A ZKL3000RC on-job assessment module 1 Installation and Switching (see first time attained) or,
  • TfNSW issued Statement of Attendance that identifies ZKL3000RC01A ZKL3000RC on-job assessment module 1 Installation and Switching recertification (see Recertification) 
• First time attained:
  
  • For the first time attained TfNSW will accept TfNSW issued Statement of Attendance that identifies ZKL3000RC01A ZKL3000RC on-job assessment module 1 Installation and Switching and a 2-year expiry from date of completion will apply 
• Recertification:
  • For all subsequent recertification, the TfNSW issued Statement of Attendance that identifies ZKL3000RC01A ZKL3000RC on-job assessment module 1 Installation and Switching recertification and a 2-year expiry date from the date of completion will apply 
    

Upload Requirements

TfNSW issued Statement of Attendance must be uploaded by TfNSW L&D or Sydney Trains WC&L only

• Award date = Completion date on Statement of Attendance 
• Expiry date = 2 years from completion date as shown on the certificate
