Competency Requirements  The applicable Statement of Competency form must be downloaded from the MTM Document Portal and uploaded. The form must meet the following criteria: It must be assessed and signed by an MTM-approved Signals Assessor and SME before upload unless the competency is claimed under the Alternative Competency Assessor pathway. Where the Alternative Competency Assessor pathway applies, the assessor does not need to be an MTM-approved Signals Assessor but must be competent under ACMS and able to show the competency claim is traceable to ACMS. Assessments under this pathway must be submitted in RIW directly to the Head of Engineering Signalling (Graeme Miles) for endorsement. Endorsement by any other MTM-approved Signals Assessor is not permitted. The applicant’s name must match the name in RIW (shortened first names, such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher,' are accepted). Upload Requirements Award Date: Date the Statement of Competency (SoC) was signed by the Assessor (unless advised otherwise on assessment paperwork or by endorser). Expiry Date: 4 years
