Reference.TfNSW - Protection Officer Recertification Practical Observation (910335)

Reference.TfNSW Statement of Certification (WHA01) or Reference.TfNSW Statement of Re-Certification - HS1 (WHA01) (64550 or 66773 or 66779)

From 1 January 2023, this competency must be awarded to the Rail Industry Worker profile using one of the following methods :

Directly awarded by the RTO who delivered the training, or
Added by a company if the certificate has back-to-source verification, such as a QR code. Please check the accepted evidence below for an example.

Competency requirements

Applicants name is to be displayed on the document
Applicants name on document is required to match the applicants registered cardholder name (However shortened versions such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' would be acceptable first name differences)
A Statement of Attendance is to be uploaded to this competency.
TfNSW accepts the following evidence for the role of - Handsignalling Level 1 Practical Assessment or Recertification.
Where the certificate identifies it as a re-certification, upload to the re-certification competency.
Certificate wording that can be accepted " Handsignalling Level 1 Assessment" as long as it fulfills all other business rules requirements and is on a TfNSW template.
Note: TFNSW do not accept 'higher level' qualifications for TFNSW roles and competencies.

Expiry Date = 2 years from the date of attainment

TfNSW Track Protection Officer Lv 1 (910100)

From 1 January 2023, this competency must be awarded to the Rail Industry Worker profile using one of the following methods :

Certificate of competency with “Track Protection Officer Lv 01 Authorisation”, “Track Protection Officer Lv 1 final assessment” or “Protection Officer 1 recertification” with a 2020, 2021 or 2022 date.

The Protection Officer 1 recertification can ONLY be accepted if the person already holds/has held a valid version of the Track Protection Officer Lv 1 (910100) competency.

Upload requirements

Certificates issued in 2020, 2021, 2022 or up to and including 30 /03/2023 will be assigned an expiry date of 30/03/2023
Any certificate with an issue date of 31/03/2023 or later is to be applied an expiry date of 2yrs from the date of completion as identified on the certificate
