TfNSW Statement of Certification (AES05) Authorised Attendant (64525)

From 1 January 2023, this competency must be awarded to the Rail Industry Worker profile using one of the following methods :

  • Directly awarded by the RTO who delivered the training, or
  • Added by a company if the certificate has back-to-source verification, such as a QR code. Please check the accepted evidence below for an example.

Competency requirements

  • Applicants name is to be displayed on the document
  • Applicants name on document is required to match the applicants registered cardholder name (However shortened versions such as 'Chris' for 'christopher' would be acceptable first name differences)
  • A Statement of Attendance is to be uploaded to this competency.
  • TfNSW accepts the following evidence for the role of Authorised Attendant:
  • TfNSW or Sydney Trains issued Statement of Attendance which is to identify the role: Authorised Attendant
  • Where the certificate identifies it as a re-certification, upload to the certification competency.
  • Transport Sydney Trains Issued Certificate of Completion is accepted

Upload requirements

  • Please upload a copy of your certificate issued by TfNSW or Sydney Trains
  • Set the expiry date to a common date of 30/11/yearly.
  • Where the certificate is completed after the 1/09/current year, set the expiry date to the 30/11/following year.
  • Where the certification has an expiry date shown on the certificate then set to expiry shown on the certification.
  • Expiry date on Transport Sydney Trains issued Certificate of Completion (Where variable expiry dates will be added on each individual COC) this is when the expiry date will NOT be set to 30/11.
