Certificate of Currency.ARTC - Track Examiner & Certifier (67513, 67520 or 67515)

From 1 January 2023, this competency must be awarded to the Rail Industry Worker profile using one of the following methods :

  • Directly awarded by the RTO who delivered the training, or
  • Added by a company if the certificate has back-to-source verification, such as a QR code. Please check the accepted evidence below for an example.

Competency requirements

  • Applicant name must match the name in RIW, shortened names are acceptable Chris for Christopher etc.
  • Evidence must be a Certificate of Achievement, or a Certificate of Currency issued by an ARTC authorised registered training organisation (RTO) which must reference the ARTC role, which will be:
    • ARTC Track Examiner & Certifier Currency
    • ARTC Track Examiner & Certifier recertification
    • Track Examiner Currency
    • Track Certifier Currency
  • The following RTOs are approved by ARTC to issue a Certificate of Achievement:
    • Accell Pty
    • GoTrain Industry Pty Ltd
    • The Instruction Company Pty Ltd
    • Southern Cross Civil & Rail Training - SCCRT
    • Training Ahead Australia
    • Urban Rail Safety Pty Ltd trading as Yakka Training
    • Certificate issued by Centre for Excellence in Rail Training (CERT) (RTO: 51333) is not accepted if issued on or after 11/04/2024
  • The Statement of Attainment issued for this competency must list the following:
    • TLIB3099 Examine track infrastructure
    • TLIB3100 Visually inspect track infrastructure
    • TLIB3094 Check and repair track geometry
  • A Statement of Attainment can be used for the first time so long as it was achieved in the last two years, otherwise, recertification is required to identify you retain the relevant knowledge for the role.

Upload requirements

  • The date of completion should be entered as the issue date in RIW 
  • The expiry will be 2 years from the date of completion
