Competency requirements

• Applicants name must be displayed on the uploaded evidence.
• We can accept evidence in the form of a certificate, a licence/membership card or a letter
• Black and white OR colour copy of this document is accepted.
• Must be clear and legible.
• Must be a Registered Architect with any State or Territory Architect Registration Board recognised by the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia.
• Registered Professional Architect must be verified via the following link: Registered Landscape Architects (aila.org.au)
  • Type in the surname of cardholder and keep the state and territory as “Any”
  • Member type must display “Registered landscape architect”
  • The designation type must display “AILA”
  • First name and surname must match the name on certificate loaded.
• For landscape architects, you must be registered with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects as a Registered Landscape Architect or Fellow. Other professional affiliations will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If no registration can be obtained, please email competencies@metrotrains.com.au for equivalence requirements.
